Each goddess coin is re-created using an authentic 2,300 year old Greek coin as the master model, and is faithfully reproduced in 14K yellow gold.

 

Athena I,(Minerva): was the goddess of reason, wisdom, and purity. She was the goddess of the city and the protector of civilized life. She guided men through the dangers of war, where victory was gained by prudence, courage, and perseverance.

Master coin: Minted in Greek Macedonia during the reign of Alexander the Great’s son, Phillip II, 323-317 BC.

Aphrodite, (Venus): was the Greek goddess of love, beauty, and sensuality.

Artemis, (Diana): was the goddess of the hunt, bearing a bow and quiver of arrows. She was the goddess of the moon, fertility, and childbirth. Artemis was the protectress of young women, presiding over the important transitions in a woman’s life.

Hera, (Juno): was the goddess of marriage, fertility, childbirth. She was the protector of all married women.

Hestia, (Vesta): was the goddess of the home and hearth. The keeper of the sacred fire at the center of each home, she was the goddess of family life, her presence was felt whenever her fire was lit. She tended to the domestic essentials of life, bringing order, warmth, and beauty to the home.

Persephone, (Proserpine): was the goddess of the netherworld, whose return heralds the coming of spring, the re-awakening of the earth, and the blooming of sweet fragrant flowers.
