of our email newsletter in March 2016:
Our first Rain Chain was a bracelet. It was magical. Everyone on staff loved it. Then we made the necklace and it's beautiful too, actually quite amazing. The bracelet has sound. As you move, as you reach for a fork or a knife, the raindrops dance, the silver raindrops softly patter against the tabletop or any solid surface you approach.
The necklace is quieter. Every time you move, the necklace shimmers with hundreds of little silver raindrops all falling into place. The necklace catches the eye. If you're wearing a Rain Chain, everyone's eyes return to you as you move.
One of our staff said "how about earrings?" We made a pair and now have a Rain Chain Collection. I'm having a hard time resisting sharing this newest idea. Our e-mail friends are the first to know.
As you can imagine, it takes time to make just one Rain Chain set. Each earring, bracelet and necklace set has a combined total of 394 sterling silver raindrops. Each silver raindrop is individually made then linked into the design. We've talked with our jewelers and they have said they can make them, though they cautioned, it takes time.
