Sailing Into an August Sea Opal & Diamond Sailboat Necklace
Keith, our Clipper Ship guy made one of these sailboats with an Australian opal. We put it up on our website and sold it within a week. We had a similar size opal from the new discovery in East Africa, the Garden of Eden find. If you sail, you know the big poofy sail up front is called the spinnaker. When you put the spinnaker up your boat really moves because it’d catching a lot of air. If you sail, you know the type of day and you feel all that white water churning along the hull, our long row of diamonds.
